All software is available in both Macintosh format and Windows format
Macintosh format is a file that has been compressed using Stuffit (.sit file) and then encoded using binhex (an ".sit.hqx" file). These files can be expanded using Stuffit Expander (as a file-handler in your browser) or by draging the file onto Stuffit Expander from the Finder. A Macintosh format file should only be downloaded with a browser running on a Macintosh. Downloading a Macintosh format file to a Windows machine will likely produce garbage.
Stuffit Expander is available at http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/index.html.
Windows format is a file that has been compressed as a ".zip" file. These files can be expanded using PKZIP, WINZIP, or a similar program. A Windows format file should only be downloaded with a browser running under Windows. Downloading a Windows format file to a Macintosh machine will likely produce garbage.
Installation instructions are available on the Support page. They explain which files should be downloaded and how to install them on your machine to create a web server. Version Notes are also available on the Support page. They contain a detailed list of all changes made during the current school year.
